Rhino Records' release of "Cowabunga!", a surf music compilation 4-CD box set, reflects the record label's lack of connection to the culture whose music they've attempted to compile, crudely arranging the predictable tracks on the first 3 discs, and omitting the best contemporary surf music on the 4th disc.
