In TSJ 32.3’s “Beyond the Bluff,” author Christian Beamish tracks the many pursuits of Central Coaster Chad Kaimanu Jackson. From backdooring slabs on boards shaped from agave stalks milled by his own hands to stewarding the land as a California State Parks archeologist, Kaimanu lives a life largely of his own design.
